Angular contact ball bearing is rolling bearing with balls as rolling elements designed to support primarily a combined radial and axial load.
We classify and introduce some common angular contact ball bearings according to the number of ball rows, whether it is separable bearing, whether having filling slot, countinnerd outer ring or countinnerd inner ring, and contact angle α (the contact angle refers to the angle between tthe normal of the contact point between the ball and the raceway and the radial plane).
Firstly, let’s take a look at the non-separable single row angular contact ball bearing. The structural types include: angular contact ball bearing with countinnerd outer ring and countinnerd inner ring, angular contact ball bearing with countinnerd outer ring, angular contact ball bearing with countinnerd inner ring. Among them, the common bearing series of the first two of them include 718, 719, 70, 72, 73, 74, as shown in the chart. The common bearing series of langular contact ball bearing with countinnerd inner ring include B719, B70, B72, and B73, as shown in the chart. Generally, angular contact ball bearing with countinnerd outer ring is more common in applications, but angular contact ball bearing with countinnerd outer ring is more commonly used in high-speed and high-load situations.
We will introduce the arrangement of single row angular contact ball bearing in the next video. What else do you want to know about it? Welcome to discuss in the comment section.
