Separable single-row angular contact ball bearings include S7 (angular contact ball bearings with a separable outer ring), SN7 (with a separable inner ring), QJ (four-point contact ball bearings with split inner rings), QJF (four-point contact ball bearings with split outer rings), and QJS (three-point contact ball bearings with split inner rings).
Among these, S7 and SN7 types allow the inner and outer rings to be mounted separately, making them suitable for applications with installation constraints. They can bear unidirectional axial loads and restrict axial displacement in one direction, and must be mounted in pairs. QJ, QJF, and QJS are bidirectional single-row angular contact ball bearings. The groove design of both the inner and outer rings allows for two contact points between each ball and the raceways, with a contact angle of 35°. Under no load or pure radial load, the balls make three-point or four-point contact with the rings; under pure axial load, they make two-point contact. These bearings can carry axial loads in both directions and are also capable of withstanding moment loads.
