Deep Groove Ball Bearings

Bearing Overview
Deep Groove Ball Bearings are the most widely used rolling bearings due to their simple design, versatility, and cost-effectiveness. They are designed to accommodate radial loads as well as axial loads in both directions, while providing low friction, high-speed performance, and reliable operation.
Suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, deep groove ball bearings are available in open, shielded, and sealed designs. Their low maintenance requirements and long service life make them the preferred choice for electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, household appliances, automotive systems, and industrial machinery.
With over 30 years of manufacturing experience, Haichuan supplies high-quality deep groove ball bearings in standard and customized configurations to meet diverse application requirements.

Precautions & Technical Notes
- Deep groove ball bearings can accommodate radial, axial, and combined loads. However, if the application involves substantial axial loads, please consult Haichuan for technical support.
- Bearings equipped with seals or shields are engineered for inner ring rotation. If used in applications where the outer ring rotates at high speeds, grease leakage may occur. In such cases, please contact Haichuan.
- When bearings with contact rubber seals (RS/2RS) are operated under severe conditions such as high speeds or high temperatures, grease leakage may occur. Please consult Haichuan for optimal configuration.
- Mounting/Installation: When mounting the bearing onto a shaft or into a housing, the installation force must be applied strictly to the face of the inner ring or outer ring being press-fitted. Never transmit mounting force through the rolling elements.
- Pre-greased bearings with seals or shields must not be washed or heated prior to installation.
- Installation errors, such as misalignment or tilting of the bearing rings, will significantly increase operational noise and vibration.

Q & A
How do I choose between CN and C3 internal clearance?
CN (Normal Clearance) is ideal for standard motors and general machinery under ambient temperatures.
C3 Clearance is larger, designed for high-temperature, heavy-load, or tight-fit applications to accommodate thermal expansion and prevent bearing seizure.
What is the difference between ZZ (Shielded) and 2RS (Sealed) bearings?
ZZ features non-contact metal shields, offering low friction and higher limiting speeds for clean environments.
2RS uses contact rubber seals, providing superior protection against dust, moisture, and contaminants, though at slightly lower speed limits.
How do I choose between 6000, 6200, 6300, and 6400 series?
The larger the series number, the greater the load carrying capacity for the same bore size. Selection depends on available space and load requirements.
When should I choose specialty materials like Stainless Steel, Ceramic, or Plastic over Standard Bearing Steel?
Standard chrome steel suits 90% of industrial applications.
Choose Stainless Steel for corrosion resistance (food/medical),
Ceramic for ultra-high speeds, electrical insulation, or extreme temperatures,
Plastic for lightweight, chemical-resistant, or magnetic-free environments.
How do Haichuan’s P0, P6, and P5 precision grades impact my application?
P0 (Normal) is the cost-effective standard for general industrial machinery and pumps.
P6 provides tighter tolerances and lower vibration for precision motors.
P5 (High Precision) delivers minimal runout, required for high-speed spindles and robotics.
Can deep groove ball bearings support axial loads?
Yes. Deep groove ball bearings can accommodate axial loads in both directions, but for heavy axial loads, angular contact ball bearings may be a better choice.
